Day One Thunder Bay to Jordan MN
We left home at 9:30 this morning. Arrived at the border to find a long line. Our lucky day – they opened a second line!! The border guard informed us that our motorcycle had been randomly selected for a search!! Park the bike and in we go! They asked a few questions and we we were on our way. Mac had crossed the border a few weeks ago and also was randomly selected for a search! Is there a pattern here???? Lol!
Mac had to stop at Red Lobster in Duluth for crab legs!! What a guy!
We decided to take hwy 23 just past Hinckley to hwy 169. Our friends Chris and Tim stayed on i35. We made a good choice! Construction and car accident – major delay!!
We ran into a few patches of thunderstorms. Black sky and lightning! Not fun!! We didn’t get soaked- only a little wet!!
We finally arrived in Jordan MN at the KOA. Here’s our home for the next 10 days! Not too shabby!!!
We had a great evening around the campfire!
